DARE TO ACHIEVE YOUR IMPOSSIBLE DREAM

What impossible dream would you go for if you believed you could reach it?

From the information on my website, you all know about my Journey.  Today, I humble myself by admitting that from my first lesson with Kai Handt at North Texas Equestrian Center on March 12, 2019, (at that time, I was a “no-nothing dressage rider”) and today, learning the movements necessary to qualify for the United States Paralympics Team and compete in the 2021 Paralympics Games was not a possible reality.

You may get dragged along by it because dreams often provide impetus, forcing growth and learning.  Dreams build your faith, but they also build your skills and abilities.  The more experienced and skilled you become, the more you can achieve.

However, don’t wait to be fully skilled before you dare to dream.  Start now, no matter what age you are, now is the time to dream big.  Then grab hold of the dream, and the dream will propel you to become the equipped, powerful person you need to be to achieve your dream.

So begin climbing your mountain top dream by thinking about it, by imagining it.  Then, you can take a giant step upward through the public announcement of your goals.  Tell your parents, your friends, your trainer, your teacher about what you want to achieve.  You will discover that public announcement is a strong form of personal commitment to your goal.  You will also find that if you are passionate about your dream, others will be willing to encourage and help you.
