During my time as First Lady of Missouri, I have had the wonderful opportunity to become acquainted with Mrs. Deborah McAlexander. She has always been available to share her impressive musical talents during events at the Missouri Governor’s Mansion, most recently at the First Lady’s Luncheon this past summer. I have come to greatly respect Deborah’s positive attitude and commitment to helping others. As you may or may not be aware, her personal story is a testament to her courage and fortitude in the face of personal adversity. She is an inspiration to countless others who also suffer from vision impairment.
